23: A Memoir

By Moe Lajterman

At age eleven, Moe arrived in the United States unable to speak English, leaving behind the only home he had ever known. As he struggled to adapt to a new country, he found purpose and belonging through football, eventually becoming a standout kicker and punter before earning opportunities with professional teams, including the New York Stars, New York Jets, and New York Giants. But this is more than a sports story. 23: A Memoir is a personal account of family, loss, and the love between four brothers, written with the warmth and honesty of someone sharing his story across the table.
