The publishing process

Six stages. One continuous path from first conversation to readers finding your book.

01

Idea

Clarify the book's purpose, audience, and publishing goals.

We begin with a conversation about what the book needs to become. Genre, length, format, timeline, and ambitions shape the path ahead. This stage prevents expensive assumptions later.

02

Manuscript

Stabilize the draft so editorial work can begin with confidence.

You submit a complete manuscript with notes on structure and intent. We assess readiness, flag risks, and confirm whether developmental work or line editing is the right next move.

03

Editing

Refine structure, language, and consistency while protecting voice.

Editors work in focused passes. You receive clear feedback, prioritized revisions, and a manuscript prepared for design. The goal is a stronger book, not a different author.

04

Design

Shape the cover and interior so form matches the writing.

Cover concepts and interior typography are developed together when possible. We design for both digital storefronts and print objects, with reviews at each meaningful decision point.

05

Publishing

Produce final files, metadata, and release-ready editions.

Ebook and print files are validated, proofed, and prepared for release. ISBN, copyright page, and catalog details are completed so the book enters the market with professional standing.

06

Distribution

Place the book where readers browse, buy, and borrow.

We distribute through major channels and support launch messaging. After release, we remain available for updates, corrections, and the next title in your catalog.

Begin at the stage you are in

Whether you have an idea, a draft, or a finished manuscript, we will meet you there.
